Self Portrait Superheroes!

We talked about the characteristics of a face and what their characteristics were...
We talked about superhero characteristics and they chose the characteristics they wanted to use.
Surprisingly these characters definitely resemble their artist!

Butterflies

Symmetry - drew one half of the butterfly with oil pastel and folded and pressed paper enough that could trace the reflection.

It was a pretty tricky to teach and for them to follow as we begun - but they turned out so so cool.
