Little Quack! Directed Draw

After reading Little Quack's New Friend and talking about their great friendship, we learned how to draw the characters!  It is really exciting when a child can follow directions and come out with a picture they wouldn't have been able to draw independently.  They gain confidence when they see their picture does look like the characters.  We always emphasize that everyone's artwork will be different and it should be.  The unique ways children draw is so organic and beautiful.  LOVED this project!

I found some tutorials online for the characters and then taught it to the students with directed draw.
